The woman, who was presumed dead, was prepared for cremation in a Buddhist temple. The ceremony was planned on the outskirts of Bangkok in Thailand. A miracle appeared to the temple servants. They heard a knock from the coffin.
The woman, xrust writes, was basically saved by her brother and circumstances. The coffin was taken to the temple for cremation with the lid closed. The 65-year-old woman's brother told deputies that local authorities notified him of his sister's death. He bought a coffin and brought her to the outskirts of Bangkok for cremation. However, the temple manager stated that the brother did not have a death certificate.
While they were trying to explain to the brother how to obtain a death certificate, the temple servants heard a faint knock coming from inside the coffin. Surprised, they opened the lid — a living woman lay there and knocked on the wall. From her continued knocking, it became clear that she was knocking automatically.
The abbot of the temple immediately said that the woman should be immediately taken to the hospital. There, the doctor stated that the woman had severe hypoglycemia. This is a condition in which blood sugar levels drop to critically low levels. However, her heart did not stop and her body did not experience respiratory failure.
The family said that the woman had been bedridden for the last two years, and on Saturday she stopped breathing. They traveled almost 500 km from Phitsanulok province in Thailand to cremate her.
