“Great grief happened… Vera Valentinovna passed away. She served at the Pushkin Theater for 60 years. Our grief is limitless,” the theater wrote.

How she died

On December 25, Alentova came to the Mayakovsky Theater to say goodbye to Anatoly Lobotsky, her partner in the film “Envy of the Gods.” He died on December 20.

During the ceremony, she became ill. They carried me out on a stretcher. Hospitalized in a state of clinical death. Doctors were unable to save her.

In recent months she had been suffering from hypertensive heart disease. But she continued to work.
