The court rendered a verdict: Pussy Riot is an extremist organization

The court of the Tverskoy district of the capital issued a ruling: the punk group Pussy Riot is an extremist organization. The activities of the “ensemble” are prohibited in Russia. The judges acted on a claim from the Prosecutor General's Office.

Last September, four members of the punk band were sentenced to 13 years. They were accused of fakes, writes xrust. Now they are abroad. All are wanted.

Members of the group, whom authorities called “foreign agents,” denied the charges, saying they were politically motivated. The group gained worldwide fame in 2012 after being jailed for organizing a protest at a Russian Orthodox cathedral in Moscow.
