The Chinese subsidiary of Nexperia will supply silicon wafers to domestic businesses

The Chinese subsidiary of the Dutch Nexperia has staked out the supply of silicon wafers. This was preceded by the cessation of supplies of raw materials by the Dutch. Analysts nod to the corporate dispute.

The Chinese subsidiary of Nexperia told xrust two months ago that it is independent of European management. All these disturbances will allow the Chinese to continue producing power chips and modules based on bipolar transistors. The products are required for promotional equipment and electric vehicles.

The conflict began when the Dutch government gained control of Nexperia. In September, the company cited corporate governance issues. At the end of October, it suspended supplies of silicon wafers to its Chinese division.
