Scarlet — Cartoon Mamora Hosoda will be released in December 2025

Scarlet, directed by the Japanese master Mamor Hosoda, the first to watch the audience of North American film theater on December 12. The tape is nominated for an Oscar.

Sony Pictures, which is a co-producer and co-financing the film with Studio Chizu and Nippon TV, announced the release date of the past Monday, writes XRUST. Sony will spread the film in the USA and around the world, with the exception of Japan, where TOHo is engaged in the rental of the film in cinemas.

Skarlet tells the story of the brave princess, which overcomes time and space. Among the works of Hosoda are Belle, Wolf Children and Mirai 2018. The latter is nominated for an Oscar for the best animated film after the world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.

Yuitiro Sito and Takahashi Knoz from Studio Chizu, Skarlets from Nippon will prude from Nippon TV.

Hosode is the founder of the STUDIO Chizu production house. Many fantastic films of the screenwriter and director were inspired by observing the interaction of his own children and his constant concern of family dynamics, including the “boy and the monster” of 2015 and the “wolf children” of 2012.
