Pocket tablet for $2450: Samsung showed a smartphone that folds THREE TIMES
When Samsung engineers decided that two folds were not enough
Forget everything you knew about folding phones. Samsung just rolled out the Galaxy Z TriFold, the company's first-ever smartphone that folds not once, not twice, but three times. And this is not a concept from a science fiction movie, but a real gadget that will be available for purchase on December 12, 2025.
Imagine: you take a compact 6.5 mm thick phone out of your pocket. Fold it out and you get a 7.5-inch tablet. You unfold it again and you are holding in your hands a full 10-inch screen with a resolution of 2160×1586 pixels. It's as if the iPad Mini learned to fit into jeans.
What's under the hood of this monster:
- Snapdragon 8 Elite processor — top from Qualcomm
- 16 GB of RAM
- 5600 mAh battery with fast charging (50% in 30 minutes)
- 200 MP camera
- Case made of titanium and reinforced aluminum
- Thickness when folded form — only 3.9 mm
Pricing issue? $2,450 (about 3.59 million won in Korea). Yes, it's expensive. But you are paying for technology that was previously shown only at exhibitions as a “concept of the future.”
Sales start in Korea, then China, Singapore, UAE, Taiwan and the USA at the beginning of 2026. Xrust.ru will monitor the first reviews.
