Rostic's launches coffee shops inside restaurants

Rostic's finally admitted the obvious: one crispy Chicken is no longer enough to make you happy. Starting November 19, the chain will launch its own coffee zones under the sub-brand [R]Cafe in ten Moscow restaurants. There will be everything that a city with a chronic “lack of sleep” loves: coffee (including plant-based milk), tea, bubble tea, lemonades, sandwiches, pastries and desserts.

Rostic’s now has more than 1250 outlets in 74 regions — this is a giant springboard, which just yesterday was called KFC. And if each restaurant, at the expense of [R]Cafe, can add at least a few million to its turnover, the game will be worth the candle. The competition is fierce: from chain coffee shops to supermarkets with grain and ready-to-drink. Those who are able to offer not just “coffee for chicken”, but a complete experience will survive: fast service, decent grain, normal desserts and understandable prices.

Now [R]Cafe looks like a test for the maturation of the brand: can the former KFC “Russian style” become a point where people come not only for a bucket, but also for a meeting, a laptop and a bubble-ti “for the mood.” If it works out, next time we will order “coffee at Rostix” as calmly as before “potatoes at Mac.” Xrust.ru, as usual, will look at the quality of coffee and the integrity of receipts.
