Style = «Text-align: Justify;»> The most significant innovation in Python 3.14 Alpha 5 is the introduction of a new and additional Tail-Call interpreter, writes Xrust. It can issue a 30% faster Python code.
The Tail-Call interpreter should currently be compiled using the Clang 19 or later version on X86_64 or Aarch64. GCC support is expected in the future. The novelty has significant advantages for those who want to use the Tail-Call interpreter, especially for Python assembly with PROFILE Gueded Optimizations (PGO).
Python 3.14 Alpha is expected on March 14. Then the seventh and last alpha version in April will follow. After that, four beta versions and two release candidates are planned to be in time for the summer months. If everything goes well, the final version of Python 3.14.0 will be released on October 7.
