PIONER – early access for PC starts on December 16

PIONER was launched in beta testing a few weeks ago. Now developer GFA Games has announced that it's time for early access. It will arrive on December 16th. The good news was accompanied by a new trailer.

PIONER will be available in standard and extended editions, notes xrust. In the latter, in addition to the game itself, many game items will be presented:

  • Renegade armor and equipment
  • unique appearance for all weapons in the AR classification
  • exclusive game title Founder
  • 500 efreetanium crystals
  • Creepy Charm weapon accessory
  • Katana watch.

The open beta, which started in early November, included a fair amount of content. Players could take part in five acts of the story campaign, as well as the Production raid and the Crash Site training raid. For those who prefer PvP battles, the open beta also included Deathmatch and Carnage tournament modes.

Enemies shown in the trailer include flying jellyfish, huge flying monsters, and armed bandits. They have heavy weapons and reinforced armor.

At the heart of all gameplay is a progression-based role-playing system that rewards players with new active and passive abilities that can be used to complete even more difficult missions.

One of the key features of PIONER will be the crafting system, which GFA Games describes as flexible and sophisticated. With its help, players will be able to create a variety of powerful weapons and other equipment using artifacts, mined materials and anomaly energy.
