Microsoft will soon close the Outlook Lite application

Microsoft took up general cleaning. The result is already evident — several small applications have disappeared. For example, Lens and EDITOR for Chrome and Edge are thrown into the trash. The next in line is the Outlook Lite.

Microsoft released Outlook Lite in 2022, as an alternative mail for Android, recalls Xrust. It turned out to be simple and light, providing quick access without discharge of the phone battery.

The company announced that the application will be closed in October. In the United States, it is no longer available in the Play Store; PCMAG in the USA and the UK see the same notification about the deletion in the Google store.

If you have already downloaded the application, Microsoft states that it will continue to work after October 6 «for a limited time, and then will be completely stopped.» This means that you should go to the full version of Outlook as soon as possible or find an alternative.
