Microsoft Paint receives an AI update with Copilot

Microsoft Paint receives new functions of artificial intelligence through Copilot, which will soon appear on specialized PCs with Windows 11.

Microsoft updated the Paint Xrust application and improved Windows Search in the new Windows 11 Insider Preview, which has been published over the past few days. Canary and DEV Windows Insider are currently offering the latest beta version.

As a result, the new Copilot menu now brings AI functions to Microsoft Pain. In addition to this, the files saved in OneDrive are supported by Windows Search and its new semantic indexing. It is worth noting that the Copilot+ PC with Snapdragon will soon include similar functions.

Over the past two years, Microsoft has introduced AI-based functions in the Paint program. Using the content drawn by the user as input data, the Cocreator function can create AI graphics. The degree of improvement of AI applied to the drawn image can also be tuned to the user. In the same spirit, the Image Creator is an application for converting the text into an image that creates images for the user based on a textual query and choice of style.

Paint also offers a function under the name Generative Erase, which allows users to delete unwanted objects with images and Replace them with a background, which is created and mixed. Finally, users can simply click to remove the background from any image using the Remove Backdrop.
