YouTube, starting today, has opened access to a function for detecting fakes similar to your creations. For now, participants of the affiliate program will be able to take advantage of the new product.
YouTube, after detecting similarities, provides a number of videos similar to yours. Artificial intelligence is tasked with searching for fakes, writes xrust. If a video appears to be unauthorized AI-generated content, they can request its removal.
The first group of eligible creators were notified via email this morning, and the feature will roll out to more creators over the next few months. YouTube warned early adopters in the feature's guidance that, at the current stage of development, it «may show videos with your real face, rather than altered or synthetic versions of it.»
The feature works similar to the Content ID that YouTube uses to detect copyrighted audio and video content.
