Steve Buscemi will star in the second season of The Killerbot Diaries

Steve Buscemi has joined the second season of the Apple TV+ series Killerbot Diaries. Along with him, 24 more new actors will appear in the continuation of the project. Among them are Tramell Tillman, Toffer Grace, Michael Sheen and Patton Oswalt.

The full list of new members includes 25 artists. The creators have not yet revealed who exactly Buscemi, Tillman, Grace, Sheen, Oswalt and the rest of the actors will play. Their roles and the number of episodes with their participation also remain unknown.

What is the series about

“The Killerbot Diaries” is based on the series of novels of the same name by Martha Wells. The story centers on a cyborg security guard who hacked his own control module and gained free will.

Killerbot does not seek to take over the world. He prefers to watch TV shows and avoid people, but circumstances again and again force him to participate in dangerous events and protect those with whom he finds himself associated.

The main role is played by Alexander Skarsgård. His hero combines the combat capabilities of a cyborg with a reluctance to communicate with others.

Project team

The showrunners of the series are Chris and Paul Weitz, known for their work on the film “American Pie.” They are responsible for the development of the project and its adaptation based on the books of Martha Wells.

Killerbot Diaries is coming to Apple TV+. The second season will continue the story of the hero Alexander Skarsgard. Details about the characters of the new cast members, including Steve Buscemi, have not yet been revealed.
