Roborock has started selling the A30 Pro Steam 3.0 scrubber dryer in China. The model combines wet cleaning, hot water supply and steam treatment of the floor. The manufacturer claims suction power of up to 32,000 Pa, cleaning under low furniture and an area of up to 500 m² with one water fill.
Steam up to 180 °C and water up to 90 °C
The A30 Pro Steam 3.0 has a mode with steam temperatures up to 180 °C and heating water to 90 °C. Steam and hot water are supplied while the roller brush is operating.
According to Roborock, this mode is intended for dried stains, traces of grease and other contaminants on hard floor coverings. The brush is pressed to the floor with a force of up to 33 N.
Suction up to 32,000 Pa and up to 100 minutes of operation
The manufacturer claims suction power up to 32,000 Pa. The device collects dry debris and liquids while vacuuming and washing the surface.
Clean water is stored in a 1-liter tank, dirty water is stored in a separate tank. Roborock indicates that one refill can cover an area of up to 500 m². The actual result depends on the cleaning regime and floor contamination.
In normal mode, the operating time reaches 100 minutes. When using steam and hot water — up to 32 minutes.
Cleaning under furniture and self-cleaning
The machine can be laid horizontally: in this position its height is 12.5 cm. This allows clean under beds, sofas and other furniture with adequate clearance.
The model also received automatic supply of detergent and control of individual functions through the application.
After cleaning, the device cleans the roller brush. The manufacturer claims steam treatment up to 180 °C and hot air drying up to 110 °C. The dirty water tank is protected from odors for up to 14 days.
Price of Roborock A30 Pro Steam 3.0
In China, Roborock A30 Pro Steam 3.0 costs 3299 yuan — about 460 dollars. The promotional price was reduced by 200 yuan, to 3099 yuan, or approximately $430. The company has not yet announced sales outside of China.
