Keeper — a new game from Double Fine Productions will be released tomorrow

Keeper was presented by Double Fine Productions last Sunday. This happened at the Xbox Games Showcase. The new product will be released on October 17 on Xbox Series X and Windows PC. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.

In Keeper you will play as a weathered lighthouse, xrust warns. Strange role, strange world. The tower grows legs, and you and your bird companion will wander through a variety of locations.

The released trailer shows a forest, an illuminated cave, and a village inhabited by robots on wheels. Double Fine games are known for their heart, and judging by the announcement trailer, Keeper will have plenty of it.

Double Fine is perhaps best known to gamers for Psychonauts 2, released in 2021. The company previously shelved Keeper to complete development of the said game. Critics considered Psychonauts 2 a great development, calling it one of the most creative platform games, with an absolute flow of cheerful ideas and images.

Double Fine was acquired by Microsoft in 2019 and is known for developing games that are unique in terms of art and plot. Among these are Psychonauts and Broken Age.
