In the 11th minute, Inter made a blunder when coming out of defense: goalkeeper Yann Sommer went outside the penalty area to receive a back pass, but played the pass inaccurately. Stefano Moreo intercepted the ball and sent it into the goal with his first touch, taking advantage of the fact that the goalkeeper was out of position.

12 minutes later, Moreo scored a double. After Matteo Tramoni's corner, the Pisa forward won the fight at the near post and doubled the visitors' lead with a powerful header — 2:0.

After conceding goals, Inter noticeably improved and managed to reduce the gap before the break. In the 39th minute, the referee awarded a penalty for handball in the Pisa penalty area. Piotr Zielinski confidently converted the 11-meter kick, sending the ball into the top corner of the goal. Just two minutes later, the hosts equalized the score: Lautaro Martinez made a clear header after Federico Dimarco's cross.

In stoppage time of the first half, the Milanese took the lead. Francesco Pio Esposito finished off Alessandro Bastoni's cross and also scored with a header to end Inter's impressive run, 3-2 at half-time.

In the second half, Simone Inzaghi's team completely controlled the course of the match, regularly creating dangerous moments at the opponent's goal. For a long time, Pisa managed to hold back the onslaught, but in the 82nd minute Dimarco sent the ball into the goal with a spectacular volley — the projectile hit both posts and crossed the line.

At the end of the match, Inter brought the score to a crushing one. Four minutes before the final whistle, Ange-Yohan Bonny took advantage of Dimarco's pass, burst into the penalty area and fired accurately from a tight angle. In added time, Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored from a corner, setting the final score at 6:2.

After the match, Federico Dimarco noted the importance of the team’s reaction to the unsuccessful start to the match.
“We wanted to win and realized that we didn’t start in the best way. The key was to score at least one goal before the break — in the end we scored three,” the defender said in an interview with DAZN. He also emphasized that the team promptly corrected tactical errors.

Thanks to this victory, Inter scored 52 points and continues to confidently lead Serie A, six points ahead of second-place Milan. Napoli, the reigning Italian champions, are third with 43 points heading into their match against Juventus. Pisa remains in last place in the standings with 14 points.

Now Inter turns its attention to the Champions League, where the Milanese will play an away match against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.
