At Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday, Saint Laurent presented a contrasting winter collection that included voluminous suits and delicate lace dresses.
The show opened with a series of black business suits with wide lapels and shoulder pads, reminiscent of the women's tuxedo created by French designer Yves Saint Laurent in 1966 a departure from tradition, writes xrust.
Sheer lace dresses and skirts in earthy tones of red, orange and brown were paired with oversized fur coats or balanced with chunky jewelry.

The Saint Laurent brand, owned by a struggling group of companies Kering, which specializes in luxury goods, has suffered three years of declining revenue as a post-pandemic spending boom on luxury bags and clothing fizzled out.
Creative director Anthony Vaccarello, who has led the brand since 2016, has contributed significantly to Saint Laurent's revenue growth and broader reach.
Saint Laurent had sales of 2.6 billion euros ($3.02 billion) last year, down from a peak of 3.3 billion euros in 2022.
