A statue of Maradona drove through Naples in memory of the great Argentinean

On Thursday, a car painted in Napoli's signature sky blue color drove through the streets of Naples. In the back was a statue of the late Diego Maradona. Thus began the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the great footballer in Naples.

The Argentinean, writes xrust, who wrote his name in the history of Napoli, leading the team to the Italian Serie A title in 1987 and 1990, is rightfully considered one of the greatest footballers of all time.

The statue of Maradona, who died of a heart attack in 2020 and was supposed to celebrate his 65th birthday on Thursday, was taken out of the Maradona Museum for a one-day tour of the city.

Diego did not die — his body died, but his soul continues to live in our hearts, admirers of his talent state. And the most beautiful thing is that Diego belongs to the people.
