A robotic assistant for clinics was presented in Novosibirsk

At the Technoprom-2026 forum in Novosibirsk, the Modesta company presented a service robot for clinics and other institutions. According to the developers, the device will be able to greet visitors, answer questions and accompany them inside the building.

Modesta General Director Alexander Sakhatsky emphasized that the robot is designed for service, not entertainment scenarios. It is intended to be used for navigation of patients, clients and guests in buildings for various purposes.

Navigation and autonomy

The developers said that the robot independently builds a map of the room and navigates without constant operator control. The company did not disclose the technical details of the system — including the sensors used, the area covered and operation when the situation changes.

The stated battery life is up to 20 hours. The robot also received a microphone matrix and a neural network module for working with dialogues. What kind of requests it will be able to process and what languages ​​it can communicate in is not specified.

The price has not yet been announced

Modesta reported that the robot will cost three to four times cheaper than its foreign counterparts, including Chinese. Company representatives did not name a specific price, so it is not yet possible to compare the device with certain models on the market.

Delivery dates, plans for mass implementation and the list of the first institutions where the robot will appear were also not announced at the forum.
